Now she created her own (graduation) performance ‘Maître Nageur’ within the directing course at Toneelacademie Maastricht. For this performance, Manou Selhorst was inspired by the hotel in Marrakech where her grandmother has resided for forty years. Triumph of Empathy'. Director Jan Beddegenoodts accompanied him and made a film about the trip and some pressing questions: Can you have empathy for your enemy? And who is prideful now?
