In a seemingly abandoned place where time solidifies, two bodies are subjected to a machine of tight rhythms and electronic sounds. Like in a feverish dream, the two bodies try to break free, looking for an alternative. In what remains, they fantasise about a place where time is spent differently.
With this {nomadic} version, Izah creates short performances in unexpected places. In doing so, she considers the various scenes and musical fragments as deformable building blocks that can adapt to the location. Hankammer continues this project afterwards, working towards a full-length performance in 2026. She will do so within the New Creators' Track Inter:Action.

06.09.2025"In the dance concert that is essentially The Time It Takes {nomadic}, the drummer and dancer slowly build up the tension. Eventually, they erupt in a pandemonium of drumming, cymbal crashes, primal screams and wildly flailing limbs."Read more
