Maxime Waladi
Maxime Waladi graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education (Dutch and History) from the Department of Teacher Training at the Catholic University College of Leuven. He continued his studies and graduated from LUCA Drama (Leuven) in 2016.
As a student, Maxime acted and danced with fABULEUS in Kasimir and Karoline and in Sueños. He founded the temporary collective NTP (as part of fABULEUS’s Onderstroom project) and contributed to the production Faces. He also appeared in the PALEIS production De zaak van de dieren tegen de mensen.
During his final internship at Action Zoo Humain, he assisted with the dramaturgy of the production Join the Revolution (2015). He made a name for himself and Zouzou Ben Chikha coached Maxime in completing his master’s thesis Le Chicon (2016). This production was further developed into a school performance in 2017, premiered at the Ghent Festivities in July 2018 and toured Flanders during the 2018–2019 season.
